Footpath Cottage is a Grade II listed building, dating from around 1850 and situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Edith Weston, on the south shore of Rutland Water.
Constructed of local stone with a Collyweston slate roof, the cottage comprises sitting room, bathroom and kitchen; two good sized bedrooms, one with twin beds and the other a double bed. There is an extra single bed if required.
Modernised throughout, Footpath Cottage has all the facilities you would expect for modern living, yet has retained its character with a wood beamed ceiling in the sitting room and inglenook fireplace housing a wood burning stove.
The bathroom has a separate shower cubicle as well as a bath with handheld shower attachment.
It has a fully fitted and well equipped kitchen including dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and microwave oven. There is a TV with FreeSat digital reception, DVD player and radio/CD player.
All linen and towels are supplied.
For sailors, walkers and fly fishers there are separate drying facilities. There is also a freezer to store any trout caught and lockable space for bicycles.
